2002-05-27 - Contemporary Christian Music

Where At home in Kansas - this field seems pointless now. Well, i guess I could update this from work or something.

What Went to church yesterday, was the last currently scheduled contemporary service at my church. There's a lot of hoop-la going on about them offering a contemporary service. Some of it is logical, other people are just ranting 'cause they don't like change. It was done fairly well, I'd could critique it, but that wouldn't do any good.

Came home and messed around a bit, did some stuff, I don't remember what. Then went to Shaun Groves, Jennifer Knapp & Jars of Clay concert with Beth, her friend Katy, and my bud from high school Johnny. It was good times. Got back and we just hung out for a while, caught up a bit. Then I put the Mexico pictures up on the CA website while chattin with a few peoples online.

2002-05-03 - Patience is a virtue

Where At home (aka the academy) - yes, I do live here and all.

What I'm waiting for a phone call from the HR rep at Sprint PCS in charge of internships, should be calling with 15 minutes so if I randomly stop in the middle of a sentence you know why. Beyond that, I had 2 finals yesterday which I think went very well. The first class I already know I have an A in, the prof already posted the grades! Why can't all teachers be that on top of things? So I'm hoping to make up a page called "Dave's rules on IM" soon, so that should be appearing somewhere on my site. I think I've finally somewhat decided what I'll be doing in CA next year, which will basically be restricting myself to CALM team and web work. Ok, Sprint hasn't called yet, so I call them now. And I get voicemail! UG!
