Here's the front side of McClintock Hall from the outside.
Yea, I now, it isn't very spectacular...but I figured you'd
want to see it so....

Here's the view from the front side of McClintock Hall facing out
over Hayden Lawn with the entrance to Hayden Library in the distance
over to the right, and that big huge building on the left side is
the library.

This picture is taken from the other side of Hayden Lawn, facing back
towards McClintock, which you can see in the far left corner. Be sure
to see the three reflective things, see if you can figure out what
they're for.

Here's the inside of McClintock, as you can see there's a nice sized
courtyard in the middle with all the rooms facing inward (yep, no
inclosed hallways like those Kansan dorms. By the way, if you look
back in the corner on the first floor on the the side with 3 floors,
that would be our room.

This is another view from just outside our dorm down one side
of the "hallway." This side is all dorm rooms.

Here's yet another view from just outside our door, down the other wing.
In order going down the hall, there's first the bathrooms
(public bathrooms that is, it might get a bit nippy out in winter walking
back to our room after a shower if we had community bathrooms),
two classrooms, the computer lab and a few faculty offices.

Ok, now you've made it to the inside of our dorm. This is the "front"
room, with the ever so necessary tv/vcr/stereo. The tv/vcr is sitting
on the built-in desk in the room that we don't use as a desk.

Here you can see are fridge/microwave setup, isn't it cute? Also
you can see into our "back" room, our sink and stuff.

Yep, that's food up in our top window, didn't have anywhere else
to put it, and we didn't have anything else to "decorate" with :]

This is the "lower" level of our back room, where we end up spending
most of our time doing homework or whatever else (except watching
tv of course).

Heres a little better shot of the computers, David's is on the right side
and Al's over on the left. We managed to even have room on the
desks for the printer, although we have to prop the right side of it
up since our desks aren't the same height.

This is the "upper level" of our back room, and yes, our beds are
always made up first thing every morning :). You can see
our little shelf between the beds with our clocks and our "night light"
so we can see to get into bed.

This is the top of the closet, where you can see all the stuff
that we store, everything from soap/detergent to blankets to
software and printer paper. On the top shelf in the closet
you can see our plethora of shoes.

Sometime in late October, we got a little hail...
|

Everyone in the dorm coming out of their rooms to watch the hail...
|
|
After the hail stopped and the rain let up a few people were out playing
in the puddles.
