The following pictures are from this past Christmas, for the year 2000. This was a really neat christmas for me for many reasons. First, you'll notice a name that doesn't sound very american in the captions. We had Francesca, our cousin from Italy come stay with our family for a whole month! The time sure went by fast, as it always does when your amongst friends. Secondly, Addie & Chris, who go to school at ASU and are from Colombus, OH, stopped for a quick one-night visit on their way too and from home, I know I was really glad to have them stay with us, and wish they could've stopped for longer (Unfortunatly I don't have any pictures, what was I thinking???). Well, I could ramble on a bit more, but you're here to see the pictures, so here goes:

What in the world does this car have to do with Christmas you ask? This was Josh's car, and the picture serves as a reminder that we all need to be careful while driving home for Christmas.

Josh rolled his car after hitting some black ice (for those of you from not icy places, black ice is basically really really slick clear ice, so its hard to see). As if this wasn't enough, the police officer who came to the scene gave him a ticket, but he fought it and won.

Josh was ok, just a little shaken up. Last one, now we can move on to the fun stuff!

This is Anna, Mike, and Francesca.

Another one of Anna, and no, she doesn't have a disability that makes her head tilt to the left, I guess she just likes to tilt that way :).

This is Francesca, my mom, and my Aunt Diane.

Now that's a rock! Our car didn't do any sliding around on the way home I can tell ya that much...

Grandpa, scratching away whats left of his hair. I love you grandpa!

Matthew, taking a picture of me, and my dad.

Everybody's hungry!! Left to right, John, Grandma, Josh, Francesca, Ryan, Anna, Mike, Shirley, Jerry, and somebody's hands (Grandpa I think).

John, way to carve! We're all hungry, especially Sarah and Matthew. Grandma, take it easy on the wine, you haven't even started to eat yet! (:

That's a possam!

I hope I have such a big beautiful backyard someday...

Need I say more?

That's all folks!
