Cruise Spring Break 2001
Royal Carribean

Click a picture for a larger view.

These pictures are from our family vacation spring break of 2001 on our trip to the south carribean islands. The four of us went with the Jones' (one of Ryan's roommates family), and we all had a great time (hard to not have a great time on a cruise!)

A cool looking light house on Aruba.

Look, it's me! (In Aruba)

The Natural Bridge (yup, in Aruba).

Yea, same thinga as the last picture.

Whoa, something different! Still in Aruba, this is near that natural bridge.

Mr. Ryan Jones, out gazing over the water (I think he wants to jump in).

Volcanic rock on this Island of Aruba, turned to sand down nearer the shore.

Not Aruba! This is the one and only picture of Curusoa you're gonna get, so enjoy it! These colorful buildings are in the shopping / downtownish area.

What the heck is this? you're probably asking yourself.. Well, this is what happens when you leave too many clothes out for your cabin maid to pick up!

Ah, isn't it cute? The parents out dancing :)

This cruising stuff is serious business.

Here's the pool deck of our lovely ship. Those chairs can be hard to come by on days at sea.

Ok, by now you've got to be wondering what order I've got the pictures in, well, alphabetically by however I decided to name them. I was too lazy to re-organize them for the website, so you'll have to take what you can get :). This is my bro and I on our parents balcony (yea, their room had a balcony... I suppose I can't complain too much, after all I got to go along)

Here's the folks, same spot.

This was taking while in St. Thomas, I was mostly testing my camera to see how it'd turn out, and here's what I got :).

This is the island of St. Martin, (my favorite stop).

St. Martin has 2 sides to it, the Dutch side and, um, can't remember the other side now. The two sides of the island have lived in peace for some time now.

The other side of St. Martin is the french side, just remembered. The Dutch actually spell it St. Maarten. This picture is just another random beach picture. This picture is from the French side if I remember right.

Another random beach picture from the french side.

This is the beach on the dutch side.

Yea, I know, I've been spelling dutch and french in lowercase. Just the way I type by default. I know it looks like it's awefully cloudy out there, but it didn't rain on us. I think the water looks really cool in this photo.

Shopping in St. Martin.

Guess what this is! You're right, it's our ship! The Grandeur of the Seas.

Ya see that lovely sail boat? Me too, it just looked cool so I took a picture of it.

Left to Right - Shirley D., Ryan Jones, Ryan Diepenbrock, Jerry D., and Scott Jones on the catamarin during our snorkeling trip.

Here's shirley with Magen's Bay in the background (on St. Thomas).

Look thru the brush, and that island in the middle of the picture is where we were snorkeling.

Here's the docks in St. Thomas, pretty pretty!

St. Thomas from far away.

St. Thomas from high above. The $10 lift ticket to get up to the top of the mountain probably wasn't worth it, but got a few good pictures anyway.

Another picture of St. Thomas from that big hill.

This one is from another hill, took a taxi to get to this one. This is St. Mary's Bay.

This is the area where we snorkeled, there's a shipwreck around here somewhere... :)
