Third day in Munich, Kandinsky, a few more smaller churches, and the Science & Tech Museum

The Greek style building in the middle of the road.
Horray for tessellating bricks.
Outside the modern art musem featuring Kandinsky... which does not open until 10:00am
Since the museum wasn't open, we went and found this pillar (need to look at map and find out what this was exactly) in the middle of a traffic circle and watched the cars and trams go by for a while. It was rather hot and muggy, so the shade an cool concrete felt good even in the morning.
Some cool art, looks like the olympic rings.
A Kandinsky piece.
Here kitty kitty kitty...
Cool little armored soldier guy.
Blue and gold makes a great combination for the ceiling. This was in one of the restored rooms of the mansion where the art museum was located.
We stopped by this baroque church. The sheer just amount of stuff they crammed into this church was amazing. I would never call it beautiful, too jam packed full of... well, stuff.
A close up of the cross.
They were playing the organ so we stayed for a while to enjoy the live "performance". Good times.
Be careful when you kneel!

Organ shot
Down the side... Beautiful artwork
Outside the european patent office
At the science museum, a giant steam engine.
Models of various airplanes. 747 and concord are the first.
The boat-plane, with plenty of propellers!
In one of the music rooms, they had a horn for my trip thru the alps.
