Everbody has a place they can go where they can relax, and all the cares of the world go away. Somewhere you know you're always welcome, no matter how badly you screwed up, or how great of a job you just did. Well, this is one of those places for me. Temperatures range here from 0 to 105 degrees, but you always feel like you're in the real world, and it doesn't matter so much. Long walks along the right-of-way, cutting wood down in the timber (thats like woods for yall not familiar with the lingo), swimming in the creek (aka large stream), or smashing pennies on the train tracks while while counting the cars going by & waving to the engineer. Well, thats just part of what this place is all about. Oh yea, and the people who live here are pretty cool too, but ya better watch out for the dog...

Here's the house. Maybe we shoulde call it the upgraded house, since its had lots of work done on it, even in just my lifetime. Such as re-pouring the concrete for the front step.

The back pourch, this is where you sit after dinner and watch the trains go by, chat about whatever, and relax.

The garage/shed. Where the car & boat live, and all sorts of tools.

Rosie, doesn't she look lovable? Ok, at least for those of you who don't hate dogs, but even if ya do, you'd be hard pressed to find a smarter better trained dog. But be careful, if she doesn't know you watch out, especially if you're acting suspicious. I wouldn't want to be around.

The hay shed. This is where some of the farm equipment lives, and trucks, charlie, etc. No more hay now that the cattle are gone, but there were many years of climbing on the hay bales! That was fun.

Of course ya have to have a barn! Basketball "court" on the top floor, watch out thou, that barn door might fall off - Ryan, that was your fault! This was the cool sorta maze-like building.

Somebody left their car here to rust and deteriorate, not sure who that is.

This is where the trains come from and where the trains go to. I guess I'd say thie tracks are about 100-150 feet from the house.

Looking back toward the house from the crossing.

Field on the other side of the tracks, and Grandpa out there doing some dirt farming.

Here's the road on my way home. This is all paved now, whats the fun in that!! Oh well, advancements in road technology.

This has nothing to do with the farm, I took this on my way towards the Interstate, but it sure is pretty.
