On our way out, I found it very interesting how the countryside was
very similar to the Midwest. Felt very home-like.

Ryan, Shirley & Jan in front of the fountain near where we parked.
I think we were near the train station, but not certain of that.
Anyway, I thought the fountain was cool and it was in the middle of the
road in a rather large open square - overtop the parking.

Inside the main cathedral in Brugge. I found it interesting how high
up the crucifix. Also, take note of the upside-down cross on the right
side, I'll explain that in the next picture...

Along the edges of the central aisle were statues of each of the
disciples. I'm not sure who this one was, the upside-down cross
as you would expect was for Judas. Many of the churches in Belgium
had similar statues.

Some cool stained glass windows, took quite a few shots to get it
to not be blury. The churches in Brussels had even more stained glass.

This is the "Madonna and Child" by Michelangelo (1504-1505).
Originally intended for the cathedral in Sienna, but was
bought buy the Mouscron family of Brugge who brought it
here, one of the few works of Michelangelo outside of Italy.

The pulpit. Yes, that's a pulpit. Pretty crazy. Also
a few more statues of disciples on either side.

An ancient book of chants I'm guessing.

See some classic medeival buildings, right up to the waterways
that go throughout the city.

This i think was my favorite view in the whole city.

The picture makes it look even more impressive.

One more... here's Jan and Shirley.

One of the center squares in town. I honestly don't recall
much about it.

Nice walkway, cool trees. Ryan, Shirely and Jan walking in front of me.

I wanted to hike to the top of this, but it cost something like 6-7 euro
and we didn't have an abundance of time.

Brothers in front of what I'm guessing to be a government building.

The Fillman's, on Jan's birthday - that night. Evan, Jan, Cara
and Bill.
