The bride and the groom, Daniella and Max, prior to the wedding. We were waiting
in the courtyard of Palazzo Vecchio, as the weddings ran back to back to back.

The ceremony in progress. Unfortunatly, the lighting, well, sucked big time
in the red room (it was very very red). There were Huge floor to ceiling
windows as the primary source of light. So, I didn't really get any really
worthy photos, so, this is what you get. The master of the ceremony kinda
reminded me of a leprechaun.

We were, of course, kicked out of the Red Room right after the wedding,
so the next one could take place. While waiting for the bride and the
groom, we were given bows to tie onto our cars for the trip to the wedding
reception. Here's Ronato & Maria attempting to figure out how to turn the
strip into a bow. Some combination of pulling was needed.

Alberto figured his out. I don't think that's where they belong.

Here's the bride and the groom. Take note of Max's "jacket",
and most specificly how long it is. I was a little sceptical of this
when he mentioned it, but it looks pretty sweet on him.

Alberto inspects Max's wedding ring, made of white gold.

Afterwards, most of us lined up to get a big group shot. We kicked
the tourists out of the way long enough to take a few pictures. I
snapped one quick while everyone else was lining up, then slipped in
the back for the wedding photographer to do his stuff.

Now we're at the reception, out in the Tuscan countryside at a
small restaurant. While we waited for dinner to begin, there
was picture taking with the bride and the groom. Now, there was
the offical photographer, then a bunch of other people taking
pictures, so people weren't always looking at the right spot.
First up here is Grazia, Francesca and Alberto.

Ronato & Maria...

I hope you know who these five people are by now.

Max's father, Franco, and Silvia on the other side, as well as Max's
now daughter Alicia. Silvia had spent some time with us in the U.S.
when I was very young.

The three of us with Franco, and Franco's mother, who was describe most
appropriately as a "little firecracker".

The gentlemen, Ryan, Franco, Alberto and myself.

Who will catch it? I'm rather proud of this, catching the
bouquet in mid flight.

Alas! The feast has begun. If I've talked to you at all, you'll
know how I feel about this meal. Suffice to say, best food I have
ever ever ever eaten. I want my wedding reception here!

And finally, the wedding "cake". Very impressive, two heart-shapped
fruit covered, um, things - perhaps, pastries? It was very good, a
refershing change from the typical wedding cake.
