For once, Typhoon was down and it was entirely my fault. I forgot to pay to re-register the domain thetyphoon.net. I noticed the next day what had happened, and quickly went to pay to get it re-registered. Luckily it was being held for me, so nobody else could snatch it from me. After that, it just took a while for the DNS entries to propegate around the Internet. Cox seemed to be about the slowest, as when I queried other name servers they were updated much sooner. If you don't understand what any of this means, thats okay - it doesn't really matter. Depending on how I feel tomorrow, I may look into setting up the commenting system on my journal, a) for fun, b) so I don't forget how to write Java, and c) I have some good uses for it lined up - well, at least one.
