And the second best things are nearly free. Or something like that. Yesterday I got new bedroom furniture, for cheap. See, Anthony's (my brother's roommate) Aunt is selling her fully furnished condo in Scottsdale (previously rental property). So my brother, Anthony and Elizabeth and I went up to buy off whatever we could use. Ryan and I each took a bedroom set - queen bed, dresser and two night stands. Thanks to Mark Handley, who loaned me his truck, I was able to transport the things back home. As it happens, the mattress my brother took ended up on the 101, in the middle of the highway. By the time I got everything home, unloaded everything, and took the truck back (and had Mark take the Maxima for a test drive), got home and arranged everything, I was pretty tired. But my bedroom is actually furnished now, it looks much more like a real bedroom.

Oh, and I got a bass guitar for Christmas from my parents. We bought it this past week while my mom was still here. Very fun, just need to work up some finger strength and flexibility.
