You know how on NBC they have the show called "Today", and often's they tell you what will be on the next day's show, they always say "Tomorrow on Today"? Well, that was my inspiration on the title. Since it's after midnight, it qualifies.
The day involved many fun things, which I am glad, for it had been a while since there had been a day with many fun things. It began with microwave shopping, since the microwave stopped working before Christmas. The basic debate is over stainless steel or black. My vote is for black, given the colors in the kitchen, we shall see what happens. FYI, Fry's Electronics is not the place to buy them from, Best Buy is much cheaper for same models.
After that, I went to a coworker's house to get some TV antennas and wire from him that he was no longer using. Then I played with them. I also stopped by Best Buy to pickup an antenna from them. Most likely I'm going to use the one from BB, as it seems to have slightly better reception, but I haven't decided for certain, since I can still easily pack it back up and return it. I found where I want to "mount" it in the attic (more like laying it on the rafters, I think). Next step is figuring out how to wire it, need to spend some quality time figuring out where the cables are going to and from that are currently in place.
After having my fun with that, I changed my car's oil. Yes, this was fun, mostly because now it's so easy after having done it a few times. Why would I ever pay to have it done, so easy to do myself and I know it's done right. Weird thing, Nissan keeps changing the size of the filter they give me, I double checked to make sure it was marked for the right vehicle, I'll have to ask next time I go in.
Typical piano / bass playing, slowly progressing on both of those. Then I went to shoot some baskets at the school across the street. I have now determined that I should get basketball shoes if I intend to do that again, as my left ankle is slightly sore. That, or ankle braces, but shoes will probably be the better place to start so I don't wear out my running shoes.
Lastly, went to hang out at Tim's place and watched Bend it Like Beckham, which I had seen once but it was enjoyable a second time. The plot gets a bit silly at times with people "overhearing" (or seeing) bits of "conversations" (or scenes) and making wrong assumptions, but overall I would recommend it as a good movie. Besides Tim, Beth, Heather & Shelly were also there. Jon also showed up partway through the movie. It was good times.
