One of the interesting things I've heard lately is "It doesn't usually rain this time of year". They mean in Phoenix, of course. However, to say so would be ignoring the fact that Phoenix (and most of AZ) has been in a drought for quite a while now. Anyway, in the past few days we've gotten quite a bit of rain. Enough in fact to cancel my getting lost this morning. See, i was signed up for Boeing's community service day on a project to help forrest services people track down people who are lost. So, we were going to go get lost and have them track us down. However, with 2+ inches of rain, it was determined to be too muddy to do it this morning. Surprisingly, I haven't seen any car accidents caused by this last round of rain.
Bamboo club thursday night was great. Good food as always. Friday was worship practice, which was shortened due to Gethsemane's School's sprint concert. I stopped by to see how that went, which was entertaining. They even got the principal up there for one song. Today I've been pretty lazy. I went out and bought a black dress shirt for Good Friday. Also did some grocery shopping and mowed the lawn. I could've gone to hang out with boeingites to watch the basketball games, but I opted to stay home for no real reason. So I watched the games and Field of Dreams at the same time. Gotta love side-by-side on big tv. I also got in my bass practicing for Palm Sunday tomorrow. Definitly some of the most tricky songs I've attempted so far, but the rest are fairly straight forward. I'm looking forward to it.
