What's your V-Day? Finding a word that start's with V, I'd call today Viscous-Day. It all started with Tim asking me if I could drive him to campus since his car battery was dead. I had woken up just a few seconds before, and without much thought grabbed keys, wallet, socks and shoes and headed out the door. Note to self: grab your glasses next time. Dropped him off between Architecture and Lang & Lit, and headed back home. The rest of the morning was spent watching Lethal Weapon 2, doing dishes, folding laundry, etc.

Afternoon, I went with Katie to lunch and then to Mark's house to look at his computer. After fiddling with it for a while it magically started working. He's still online, so I assume it's still working. Go figure. Took Katie back and went up to Best C 5 to find Tim, who was in chatting with Ryan & Brandon. I ate a few of Brandon's cookies, and after a few jokes we headed home.

Once home, I wasted time, and banged around on the piano for a bit. Andy & Tim left for Los Dos with a group of Andy's buds. I proceeded to re-string my/Al's guitar. Note to self: strings can be sharp. It took me quite a while since this is only the second time I've done it and I couldn't find as good of an on-line resource with pretty pictures and instructions as I had last time, so I had to sit down and study how I wound the strings last time. Luckily I had it figured out correctly on the first shot. Yay for new strings! I played it a bit to stretch the strings, and tuned it up a few times.

The feeling of hunger eventually came upon me and I proceeded to start some dinner and watch Leathal Weapon 1. I'm watching them in backwards order, I know. Don't ask why. After a bit I get my laptop out and chat with the few people that are around while the movie finishes. Once over I try to read the next chapter of my book on David (like King David from the Bible), but I can't get past the first page. Lack of concentration or something. I grab the guitar again and decide it's time to play barre chords. Find a website with good instructions, and viola! For the first time my barre chord works with all the strings sounding. It was exciting! Of course, still needs lots and lots of practice, I'm not all that great at other chords still.

Perhaps I'll go to bed soon, tiredness from waking up so early. Oh, so viscous. Yea, things flowed today, but it seemed like it was always kinda slow flowing and having to fighting to get thru. Probably the whole lack of schedule thing didn't help. I always feel like I should have gotten more done on my days without classes.
