I'm excited. I just got a three new books that talk about sound systems & mixers, two of them specific to church / worship environments. Last weekend I rewired the speakers, unhooking a few so the amp could drive just the main speakers, and did some other tuning. We were having problems before being able to get things loud enough, and that sure helped. I'm hoping to put together a short training course to teach all the folks who run the sound system how everything works, what to do when things go wrong, and in general how to do a better job running things. Hopefully the books will help, and I can lend them out if people really want to know more about it.

I also got a few movies with the order, amazon was having a 6/8/10 movie sale, I picked up an $8 and a coule of $10's, one being eric clapton's unplugged DVD. Additionally I picked up 10 DVDs from points I have accumulated on my sony credit card over the last couple years. I think I'll probably end up with a couple more before I cancel that card and start using my cards that get me cash back.
