Here's the short version:
Christmas eve, played, sound system worked, all is good. Went out to eat afterwards, very good Italian food. Did gift exchange at my house afterwards.
Christmas day, went to church, ran sound, went to Payson, forgot to bring along toilitries. Went out to eat dinner, came home, played Sequence and watched Memento. My mom was confused the whole movie. Next morning woke up, drove back to Phoenix, helped tear down sound setup at Church and re-setup the sanctuary (several hours).
Fell asleep at 8pm, woke up at 7am. No joke. I was exhausted. Nothing of consequence happened that Monday. Tuesday Dad & I spent putting the door handles on my front door. It took a while because the wholes were bigger than the new handles would cover, so we had to do some creative work to cover them up.
Wednesday, flew to KC. Thursday, saw my grandparents, aunt & uncle and a few of the cousins. Thursday night watched an alfred hitchcock movie with Beth. Friday went to Michael's in Lawrence for New Years Eve, played video games and ate pizza with Jon, Mark and his gf Skye and her friend (Amy I think it was). Watched a couple movies too.
Today (saturday) rotated tires on my dad's car, drove to Topeka to see grandparents and get some gifts they had left behind on Thursday. Played some Pitch which was fun even thou my dad and I got beat 2 out of 3 games, although those two were both very close games.
It seems to me that whenever I'm around my parents there's a *lot* more things that are going on in my life. Perhaps that's a coincidence. Oh, and I'm almost done reading "Bleachers", Grisham's latest book. From what I had previously heard about the book (which wasn't much), I'm actually rather impressed. I'm going to go lay down and see if I finish it tonight or fall asleep as I did last night.
