My attic is a cozy little place. So today's project was wiring for the ceiling fan in bedroom #2. As you can see from the picture, the attic is for crawling only. See that square cutout at the very back of the attic? Well, there's more attic beyond that. Bedroom #2 is back there, to the left. There's not nice 2x4's to crawl on back there, so its pretty much laying on the insulation. So, small little me crawls down these 2x4's the length of my house, thru the small cutout to pull the wire up from the ceiling and push it down the wall. It took me two trips because I hadn't pushed enough wire up into the ceiling, and my attempt to situate the wire so I could pull more failed. It took me about 30 minutes each time, crawling and working and then crawling backwards to get out. But, the process was succesful. And I'm glad, I'm not up for another trip into the attic at least until next weekend.
