I've done something today that most normal humans wouldn't consider doing. I bought a car without seeing it, touching it, smelling it, driving it. Ok, I saw a picture, but a pcture of a car is only so good. Anywho, the car is in Dallas, and Al's dad (Ken) did me a huge favor by setting up a time with the seller to go and look it over, drive it, and make sure everything was on the up and up. Here's a picture of the car. I'm very thankful to know Ken there in Dallas, and that he knows so much about cars and such. I'm looking forward to seeing him again, and of course getting the car too. And, if there's one thing about me, I love driving, so the ~ 1000 mile drive back will be fun, except that it's basically the most boring scenery ever. Those of you who know the drive to Tucson, well, it's more boring than that and much longer. I'll have my music along thou, so it's all good.

Interesting thing to note, airline tickets to Kansas City are very cheap when flying through Dallas, significantly cheaper in fact than flying directly to Dallas. Hrm, I don't have to check any bags, who's to stop me from getting off the plane in Dallas? Hopefully nothing, 'cause I'm booked to fly on Friday morning.
