This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of having dinner with an old friend from high school days, who I had not seen or talked to since going off to college. We certainly weren't best of friends, but we had classes together, and worked at the same place for a while too.

A couple weekends back I went to a going away party for a friend from college, as he was heading out of town for a few months. I'd gotten together with him and a couple of other friends one time since college graduation, but thats about all.

First off, I have to give some credit to the social networking website's, without which I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity for either of these events. As remarkable as that is, I had another thought. You see, I think one of the blessings of getting older is having friends that you've lost touch with. It's inevitable really, but its one of those things that will happen. But that leads to the opportunity to catch up on things, and that is pretty cool.
