Hopefully you can get to typhoon to see this... reports are that it works. So, i installed my new router today. Its working beautifully... well, it was. The DSL modem was moved to sit on top of typhoon, just because its nice and close to the UPS that way as much as anything. In the process of plugging some things into the back of typhoon (swapped monitors on typhoon) I must have bumped something just right, or, just wrong... you see, the ethernet port on the DSL modem stopped working. I tried everything I could to revive it, but no luck. So, for now I'm using the USB connection thru windows XP and internet connection sharing in order to provide typhoon services. No, that doesn't mean you're allowed to hack my XP install. I ordered a new modem from newegg, so it should arrive early next week. So, that explains why things have been up and down this evening. It also explains why my list of things to do hasn't gotten any shorter.
