2006.08.10 @ 02:29:00 It's the end of the world...

I've had a sudden impulse to go out and buy a new car... or, a used car, a civic to be exact. 2004 Civic HX. I think I can find one for approximatly the same amount as my car is currently worth. Maybe i'm rushing into things, but I did find a nice one in Prescott on autotrader. I've had my car now for over 3 years, which is a decently long time for me... and there's nothing wrong with my car at all. It is big for what I need, and gets fairly poor gas mileage, although nicely fast... a lot faster than any other car I would buy today. We'll see what happens.

I've started listening to talk radio on my way home from work. There's this guy Glenn Beck who is pretty interesting. I switch between that and the local news/traffic/weather station on my way home from work. Quite honestly I've gotten tired of the music on the radio as of late, and I'm finding a lot of interesting news that isn't covered by usatoday.com (I'm boycotting CNN because they put the dumbest articles as their headlines). But talk radio gets a lot of more thought provoking stories, obviously things that are good for callers to call in on. Today was all about this article citing Bernard Lewis about all the bad things that might happen on August 22nd. Really was quite eye opening. I haven't made it thru the whole article yet, but the discussion on the radio... all the events in the past 5 years, is it leading up to something big? Maybe... Maybe our military action has been way too light? Maybe even a civic won't be fuel efficient enough...
