There was an outage for all things under the "thetyphoon.net" domain beginning the morning of 9/11/2006. Service was restored on 9/11/2006 at 23:28 MST (plus whatever time for the DNS to propagate). No, the terrorists didn't get to Typhoon. Ironically the domain expires on the 11th. As such, web services were not available, and email sent to *@thetyphoon.net may have bounced, depending on how many retries the sending server does. It should be noted that the other domains hosted on Typhoon were not effected.
