For those of you using my weblog's rss feed, it's working again. I broke it a few weeks ago, and hadn't posted any entries so it didn't get fixed right away. If you want to use it, this is the address.
I was at the sports store today looking at various things, but mostly shoes, as my daily shoes are nearly worn out. I have sketcher's now, and I found some nice adidas black trail shoes, which would be very nice. I like to wear something that looks nice to work, but dress shoes aren't necessary. So I've ended up with the nicer athletic shoes, or something like it. Anyway, I found some adidas shoes I liked, but they didn't have them in my size.
As I was looking at shoes I noticed something which struck me as odd. Not that I had not noticed this before, but simply made me ask the question, why? As a rule, women's athletic shoes have pastel colors. Of course I wouldn't want to wear shoes with pastel blues and pinks, but, is there something that women don't like about a nice royal blue or red. Or is it just that the shoe makers really like pastels and they know they can't get away with it on the men's shoes?
