So its a day late, but I'm wishing myself a happy birthday. It's been quite an interesting past few days. Starting with Thursday, Al let me drive his rental car, an Infinity FX-35, back to the rental airport rental car return. Very nice, a few software glitches in the nav system, but otherwise rather nice. I do like the backup camera.

Friday, my actual birthday, was work as usual. Although its always fun when we're tracking down difficult problems. After work was happy hour for my ex boss (not to be confused with x-box). I thanked him for throwing such a great birthday party for me. It was fun, and got to meat some of the s.o.'s of people I work with. Following that, was band practice at church as usual, and then dinner out at the California Pizza Kitchen.

Saturday, today, started with yard work (woohoo! the grass is growing!). And general cleanup around the house. Andy showed up for his brief stay mid afternoon, along with g.f. Jina. We did the Haji Baba's, as well as 4 Peaks, the two necessities when coming to Tempe.

So, it's been a little bit out of the ordinary, all in good ways. The only bad thing is I seem to have annoyed my Linux install (X isn't playing nice with the video drivers), so I've been fighting that. Every rose has it's thorn.
