We've crossed to the other side of that line. Woohoo! I hadn't realized exactly how arbitrary it was until reading the wikipedia article. Last year I skipped over the whole "what I've learned" and/or end of the year surveys. But, I thought I'd bring that back. I've seen this survey a few places, therefore it must be worth my posting:
1. Where did you begin 2007?
I don't remember. Probably at home.
2. What was your status by valentine's day?
Status... TPS reports? Oh, you mean the annual 'reminder you're still single' day. I think that covers it.
3. Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Thank goodness no. I'm so done with school.
4. Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes, to take Tim after he banged his head and that whole ordeal.
5. Did you have any encounters with the police?
Other than saying hello to my neighbor or Sterling, yes, there was the one encounter with the "stupid" (only because she gave me a ticket) Tempe officer sitting in my neighborhood waiting for people to not come to a complete stop. And I can say stupid because she couldn't read her clock and wrote the wrong time on the ticket.
6. Where did you go on vacation?
Minnesota/Wisconsin as Dave&Barb's roadie, and Florida for the NYG.
7. Did you purchase an item that was over $500?
Insurance. My new computer cost about $700, but those were in parts so no one item was that expensive, but I suppose to the "average" person they would consider the computer "an item".
8. Did you know anybody who got married?
Yes - Bethany, Mark & Sarah
9. Did you know anybody who passed away?
Not this year.
10. Did you move anywhere?
I moved to the other side of my house.
11. Did you attend any sporting events?
Basketball games, and a couple soccer and softball games.
12. What concerts did you go to?
Stellar Kart at NYG, and Nate Huss played at DYG, not really concerts per say, but they count.
13. Describe your birthday:
I popped out of my mommy and started screaming, but I don't really remember any of that, just from what my parents tell me. My brother went to stay with the lichtenauer's.
14. What was the one thing you said you would not do but did in 2007?
Honestly can't think of anything
15. What has been your favorite moment(s)?
Probably at NYG, the elevator party was pretty crazy.
16. Any new additions to your family?
Nope.
17. What was your best month?
Um, March, for no real good reason.
18. Who has been your best drinking buddy?
Probably Tim, he was generally around the few times I went to Four Peaks this year.
19. Made new friends?
Yes.
20. Favorite Night out?
Eh. Didn't go out much.
21. Overall, how would you rate this year?
Good.
22. Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?
Work and church.
23. Change your hairstyle?
I went from using a 1 guard to no guard.
24. Have any car accidents?
Nope.
25. How old did you turn this year?
28, I'm getting old.
26. Do you have a new year's resolution?
Nope. Not one of my traditions, if it's something good to do no reason to wait for a resolution.
27. Do anything embarrassing?
Nothing big that I can think of, lots of small things.
28. Buy anything new from eBay?
Don't think so.
29. Get married or divorced?
No
30. Get arrested?
No
31. Be honest - did you watch American Idol?
Nope.
32. Did you get sick this year?
I think I got food poisoning once that took me out for two days, otherwise just a cold/headaches.
33. Been snowboarding?
Nope
34. Are you happy to see 2007 go?
Eh, it's just an arbitrary grouping of days, so I'm neither happy nor sad.
35. Been naughty or nice?
I'm not perfect.
