I was on my way to work this morning (which is a story in and of itself) - minding my own biz-nass driving through my neighborhood. A car coming from the opposite direction is approaching, as I approach an alleyway. Suddenly, out of nowhere... actually, out of the alley, it's a bird... it's a plane... no, it's a cat! The cat comes zooming out of the alley, racing in front of the car approaching from the opposite direction, just in time to *bang* hit right into the door of my car. This cat must've been on speed or something, because no as soon as I looked in my rearview (I didn't feel a bump but wanted to make sure) I saw him taking back off at full speed down the other alley.
Apparently I managed to pickup the virus that's going around. My sore throat was pretty bad and then i got a fever, so i went in to make sure I didn't have strep. Yes. That's right folks, dave went to the doctor... for the first time since high school. The doc said go home, you're fine, and, here's a prescription (because we all need more drugs) you can fill it if you want to. I've felt ok since then, just the whole congestion in the lungs and coughing now and then, but not too bad.
