I'm back in Phoenix. I got back yesterday morning on the first flight out from Boston to Phoenix, after getting stuck in Boston overnight. There's worse things I suppose, but I'm sure there will be a fight to get the $200 it cost me reimbursed... but since there were no agents at the Alitalia desk when I arrived, and thats where the people in Rome instructed me to go if I missed my connecting flight, my only option was to sleep in the airport... which wasn't on my list of acceptable solutions.

On a related note, I have all the photos on my computer at home now, so there should be some progress soon on the website. I've gone thru and picked photos for most every day of the trip, and written up a few descriptions on the ones I've already posted, just a matter of cleaning that all up... it will be coming along soon. But, then there's also the plethora of photos from other people that I have, which I may add a few of those if I find some that I like.

I slept about 4 hours from Rome to Boston, then about 5 hours in Boston, and another 3 or so from Boston to Phoenix... so the transition back has gone pretty well. I struggled last night to stay awake, after falling asleep a couple times I turned in for real at 10pm, not too shabby... woke up at 5:30 ready to go. Give me a couple more days and I'm sure I'll be back to my old wake up at 8am routine... but let's hope not, it's kinda nice getting the day going early.
