Alright, no, I don't. However, I am pretty satisfied... I got my check in the mail today from Alitalia, repayment for getting stuck in Boston! I'm excited, I totally thought they'd come back with a very short and polite "no", and I'd have to battle for a bit to get my money back. I guess it pays to be able to have good communication skillz, even if you are an enginerd. It is rather obvious that their lawyers got ahold of the letter before it was sent out... the first 3 paragraphs go into detail on how they aren't at fault and they don't assume responsibility etc. etc. And then the glorious 4th paragraph where they finally say "we are authorizing the payment of $199.45 for the hotel, dinner and breakfast expenses." Woot!
