Classes resumed today. I went to them. Actually, one class was cancelled, and I skipped my Java lab, since I had the project already completed. This morning I got to tour the ASU data centers, which I was amazed at how little equipment they have compared to the Sprint datacenters I toured, and also ASU's were much more chaotic. In older news, I'm back from CASI, which should be obvious. I learned so much, and I wish I could remember half of it. I have notes neatly in my file cabinet, so now all I need to do is not let it sit there and bust it out to review it now and then. So much good material that I can't believe I haven't learned before. My favorite part was definitly Bob's workshop on the Bible and how to interpret it, but Matt's elective on Sex & Dating probably challenged my thinking the most. The whole idea that dating as we conventionally think of it as not being healthy, or even Godly, was something that had never even crossed my mind. In between CASI & School starting back up, I've made a couple visits up to my Bro's house and made unsuccessful attempts to fix his computer, which is having the crashes. Amy's birthday party was this past weekend too, which was very fun. I enjoyed driving out to the middle of nowhere Phoenix. Amy had made some awesome awesome italian food, and we all hung out and played some games. It was very fun, despite my plague of causing whatever team I was on to lose. Next time we'll have to play some pitch :). |
