I woke up this morning to a broken computer. It was hard frozen, even the power button didn't work. After fiddling with it for a while, I determined the power supply to be bad, and possibly one of the hard drives and motherboard. After several hours of diagnosing and trying different things, I went to Fry's to pickup a new power supply because the surplus ones I have weren't powerful enough. I also replaced the motherboard, I had an extra of those. Thankfully, the hard drives were a-o.k. The worst part of a computer problem is restoring data, and losing stuff that wasn't backed up. It completely ruined my morning, and I didn't finish until 14:30 at which point I decided I should eat. It's hard to eat when you have a sick child, or computer in this case.
If anyone knows how to make tree nodes do line wrapping in Java, that'd be nice. I planned to be working on that during those 6 hours or so that I spent fixing my computer. It's been a 3 week long project that I'm not much closer to figuring out.
