2003.05.11 @ 16:45:45 Three days of mathematics with no dogs and no wives.

Wow, another weekend gone by. 3 days of class left (sorta). If you're curious about the title, I did a google searc on quotations regarding "three days", and that was what I found. To site the source, here it is: http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/Quotations/Whitehead_Henry.html

This past week has been pretty busy, as noted by the lack of entries. That, and a lack of anything significant to say. Life has been chugging along. I was able to postpone my job until after graduation, so I'll have 15 hours or so left to work on my java coding for that once life settles back down. That allowed me to devote time to making a fun video presentation for our applied project class working with Avnet. It's a pretty spiffy video, quick, very markety too... I have had several people say "you should sell that to them". We'll see what they thinnk on Tuesday when they see it.

There's something about this Wednesday. So far I've had invitations for end of semester events at 5:30, 7:00, 7:30, and dinner with a relative coming into town, and helping some folks move. Unfortunatly, I cannot possibly do all of them. I'm all for helping people move, I think Jenny needs help that night, and knowing her schedule she'll probably be up late, so I can still help with that. I'll probably go with the the dinner with relative, since I'm not going to Kansas anytime soon.

It's mothers day, so I made my call to the homestead. I was bad and didn't send a card. I'm not big on cards, at least not store-bought cards unless they really fit to a person. I'd rather make my own even if it does look like a kindergartener. Anyay, I didn't do one this year. I did talk with my folks for a while, and apparently they're going to discuss helping me with housing costs for a while until I get a job, since they did that with my brother letting him live in the house they owned rent free. This was definitly unexpected pleasant news. We'll see if it happens, but I certainly wasn't planning on it.

So, what's left you ask? Well, here's a quick rundown.

  • Monday: Security Final
  • Tuesday: Applied Project Presentation
  • Wednesday: Knowledge Management Final
  • Thursday: Java/XML/Web Final Project Due (hopefully completed ahead of time)
