For those of you curious, I still have not heard back from Boeing yet. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. It has been a while since I've updated, hasn't really been anything significant to write about - but here's a rundown in case you have nothing better to do than read about what I've been up to:

• Various yard work, pulling weeds, mowing, yanking out grass when it's growing where its not supposed to (go figure... it grows in the rocks fine), mowing/trimming, etc.
• Media computer - helping Al in setting up a Mandrake install with MythTV so we can do Tivo like stuff, as well as play movies & music and such.
• Lake - went out on Sunday after church. I again tried to slalom, but didn't quite make it. I did go around on 2 for a while, and tubed - which didn't do much for helping my back, it was pretty well knoted up after that.
• Movies - Had some folks over to watch Naked Gun 2 1/2, and watched Die Hard at Peggy's.
• Cooking - Have been trying to get some good Orange Chicken, still need to work on my recipe. Also made the nearly famous "Dave's Grandma Cookies".
• Misc - stuff like shopping, attempting to make my musical skills not so painful to the ear, etc.

Things to look forward to:

• Boeing's call
• Further Job Hunting if necessary
• Teaching at CA tomorrow
• Changing the oil in my car (ok, I'm scrapping the bottom now!)

That's about it... not too painful.
