For all you ASU and other college students starting class tomorrow, I have one piece of advice. a) enjoy it while you can, and b) get out as fast as you can. Oh, I said I was only giving one piece of advice. Pick whichever one you want.
Seriously thou, college is a time of learning, exploring, etc - figuring out who you are, and why on earth God put you here. Most of the other things that go on during college either a) point you towards this, or b) don't really matter all that much. Example - roommates, you can learn a ton about yourself from your roommate(s). One of the biggest things I learned is you are the sole controller of your feelings. "I asked God to give me happiness, and God said, No. He said He gives blessings; happiness is up to me."
So, whats been going on of interest in my life. Well, there's work as usual. I worked out last Tuesday, lower body, and was sore all week from that. Friday I went to hang out with CA folks at the Dickens' welcome back cookout. Saturday was helping Tim run some wiring for their computers, assist in assembling his bed, hanging out, Tim food, etc. After that, went to GameWorks with Chris and some other Boeing folks - he was in town on a short visit. Today I went to another church - it was ok, but its not the place for me. Church visiting is getting frustrating. Now I have a better understanding why the vast majority of people who end up attending a church were at one point invitied to go along with an existing member. Beyond that, went blading around the neighborhood and did some cleaning around the house.
