As promised, here's one of the reasons for the commenting system. So, Name this utensil and win a prize. Actually, I don't know what it's named so I can't give you a prize, nor do I have a prize worthy of giving... unless you would like to be the proud owner of this utensil, in which case you can send me a postage-paid box to send it in, and it's all yours: (sorry, I forgot to include something for scale on the picture.. end-to-end, it's about 11.5 inches)
I don't know if there's an official name for it. I've seen "bread spatula", "lasagna server", and all sorts of similar utincis with my internet research. It's just made so you can cut something and then serve it. I dub it the "Stainless-Steel-Slotted-Spatula-with-Serrated-Blade of Death" You can give it to me for Christmas when you're in town again! :) -- Mark
From what I could find from Google, it doesn't quite fit the pictures of a "lasagna server", and I didn't find any pictures of a "bread spatula", although a bread cutting/serving device was my first guess, I still haven't found hard evidence to support that, or a specific name.
