2004.05.08 @ 14:16:30 How to avoid sending mass e-mail surveys

Since I have this general rule against mass-emailing, I bring this survey to you here in all of its awesomeness. Now, you have two options. You can reply and post fun things about you, or you can go to the Contact Me page to find out what the best email address is, and copy and paste this into an email to me and whoever else you want. Wow, what great options! I know, its super-cool.

Welcome to the next edition of getting to know your friends (family). Okay; Here's what you're supposed to do..........And try not to be lame and spoil the fun.

Copy (not forward ) this entire e-mail and paste it into a new e-mail that you can send. Change all of the answers so that they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know including the person that sent it to you. The theory is that you will learn a lot of little known facts about your friends and family. It's fun and easy.

  1. What is your name? David L Diepenbrock
  2. What color pants are you wearing right now? Navy blue Umbro soccer shorts.
  3. What are you listening to right now? The slight hum from my desktop, server, gigabit ethernet switch, washing machine, refrigerator, and a little Linkin Park.

  8. Last person you talked to on the phone? My brother
  9. First thing you notice about the opposite sex. General physical appearance, and voice. You can tell a lot about someone by the way they talk (I mean pitch, speed, etc, not just what they say).
  10. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Of course, otherwise why would they send it to me? We go way back, my longest friend.
  11. How are you today? Mildly depressed. A saturday with nothing to do, and annoyed with my roommates a bit, which seems to be the norm lately.
  12. Favorite drink? Kool-Aide, however water makes up 90% of my fluid intake.
  13. Favorite Alcoholic drink? Not sure I really have a favorite, schnapps would probably be close, but I've generally found I don't like alcoholic beverages. I'll occasionally have wine if other people are, or try a drink at various social occasions, but Kool-Aide is cheaper and sweeter.
  14. Favorite sport? Depends on my mood, basketball, running, water skiing. As a spectator Football if on TV, Basketball if live.

  25. Hugs or kisses? As a generality, hugs.

  28. Who is most likely to respond? I'm not entirely sure who will read this, but I'm guessing naomi
  29. Who is least likely to respond? Again, not sure who will read this, but probably tim? Especially since I imagine he's busy with finals and getting ready for europe.
  30. Living Arrangements? House with two other single guys and a dog who decided to throwup this morning.
  31. What books are you reading? The Purpose Driven Life, which you'd know if you've been reading my journal. I'm a little behind, I need to catch up today.
  32. What is on your mousepad? 2 of the 3 are NetB@nk mousepads, the other has Randy Johnson of the AZ Diamondbacks. I'm not sure where I got it, perhaps from Dan Bubany as it's for 620 AM.

  40. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the Morning? "What time is it / What day is it?"

jenny says:

August 9/10 (depending on leap year or not) is your favorite day? Or is the significance in the 253rd day? Or was it random? (Considering that your fav month is October...)
(i.e. jenny is procrastinating on her signals studying/homework)

Okay I'm dumb and really meant September, not August. Can I just use the excuse that I had Z-transforms on my mind and that caused an error in a simple calculation?
