I realize now the title has two purposes. First, I cut my own hair tonight. Yes, yes, I know, you are saying "hair?" - but there is some that grows and needs to be trimmed upon occasion. It was rather easier than I thought it would be. Trimming my neck is the hardest part and I've been doing that for a long time.
Tonight also marks the end of out of town visitors for a while. Its nice to have things peaceful again (not that I didn't enjoy the company). One forgets what its like to have nobody there to talk with, no TV on, just the quiet hum of computer fans.
For an encore, try walking into a German barbershop and getting them to understand what you want them to do... that was an interesting experience.
eh, just chop it all off, easier to maintain and you're on 'vacation' anyway :)
In my French classes we had an entire unit on how to ask for things at a salon. I think that might be a cultural differences, at the risk of being stereotypical.
that comment about "in my french classes" was me. I'm not sure how it ended up saying Tim. I apologize.
