Happy birthday to me.
A few more detiails...
Went to work as usual. Got a very nice bday card and a birthday "hat" which I wore for a few minutes, it was a little too, well, out there. Particular thanks to Danielle for getting the card passed around and such. Deanna also brought cookies for our weekly meeting. I had 4, rather large ones.
Came home, bummed around a little bit. I knew something was up with the youth group, since we weren't scheduled to meet as usual, but instead we were supposed to have a leaders meeting - but it just so happened to be 30 minutes later than normal - i.e. just enough time to prepare for a surprise party. It was very sweet of them, even if I wasn't surprised - and they got me the coolest toys. Steve's birthday is a few days away, so we had a joint party. I had more junk food, but hey, once a year. I'll go running tomorrow, maybe.
Happy belated birthday... I totally forgot. If you give me your address, I'l try and send you something from Germany.
Happy belated birthday Dave!! Sorry I didn't send you some message on the actual day -- time is passing way too quickly! I'm glad you were able to celebrate it with friends and such! Talk to you soon...
