Dear or dear, has it really been that long since an udpate? My how the time flies.

Lets see... what have I been up to. Mostly house fixing up related things. Getting carpet and tile and windows lined up thru home depot, and doing more painting. That has occupied most of my time as of late. Additionally, this past Wednesday I hosted the youth group, we had some hot dogs, brownies & ice cream, and watched the first half of Bruce Almighty. It was fun times. Then Friday I invited them all back to finish the movie, but I guess most people either don't check their email regularly or already had plans (or were unable to attend for other reasons), so Bryan, Greer and I finished it off. We were going to start another movie but we all had to get up early, so we called it an early evening.

Today went out on the Lake on Al's boat, which is no longer Al's boat as of today. He sold it to a friend from work, Chris. It was actually one of the most enjoyable trips to the lake I've had in quite a while for a few reasons. First, we are all boating veterans (at least not novices) - so it wasn't as much of one person doing all the work. Second, there was good enough water (i.e. not too crowded) so we were all able to ski quite a couple times. And lastly, we didn't stay out too long, but long enough. I think skiing up in Minnesota was maybe more fun as far as the skiing part thou, much calmer water up on the gades' back yard lake.
