Update on the cars... so my car is officially for sale (http://psw4.com/car4sale). That link of course will only be good until my car is sold, then I'll probably be taking it down. You can find it on autotrader too if you look. So if you or anybody you know is interested, I'm sure we can work out a mutually beneficial deal.

Many of you know, and some don't, that I'm about to purchase a mini cooper. There is some debate that this is a "girly" or a "girl" car, and I have a few opinions on the matter. First of all, its made by BMW. Secondly, my brother, who has very good taste with regard to almost everything (clothes, decorations, etc) was considering purchasing one. Thirdly, I'm buying a 5spd... and not to be prejudicial, but I really don't know very many females who *prefer* to drive manual transmissions. Now, all that's left to debate is the styling... I think people think it's a girly car because its somewhat of a trendy car. And that, folks, I will not disagree with.

So the deal on the car, I found a flood damaged/restored vehicle that's in excellent condition. The air bag cannister needs to be replaced due to water damage, and I talked the price down because of that. Other than that, you wouldn't know that it isn't a brand new car. So its going to be my fun car for a while... and I get to take it with me on my trip back to Kansas coming up... more on that later.

I want a ride when you get to Kansas. It's not a girly car, it's a gimicky car. And girls tend to go more for gimicks in terms of automobiles than do guys who tend to be more practical and/or have different priorities in terms of cars. Oh and the fact that it is a five speed will not be obvious from the outside or a distance. That being said, overall, how fun!
