I really should make a todo list, otherwise I'd likely end up doing very little this next week. I dropped Tim at the airport this morning on my way to work... after he woke me up at the time we had planned to leave. Oops. I did set my alarm, and I even went to bed at a reasonable time, but I couldn't sleep. It was after 2am when I finally fell asleep, and around 6:15 when my alarm woke me up the first time, and I reached over in my 90% asleep state and hit snooze. I'm sure it was going off 10 minutes later as a good little alarm clock does, but at 7:10 came the knock on the door which did wake me up. So, 6 or so minutes later we were on the road. I'm starting to think I should try to teach myself to wake up when my alarm goes off and actually be awake, instead of this sleeping thru the alarm for minutes or hours. I'm open to suggestions (other than getting a louder/more obnoxious alarm clock). Really, the rest of the world seems to be able to wake up when their alarm goes off.
So it's quiet around the house, which is nice. I'm debating if I want to start work on the door for my bedroom, or find another project to tackle first... or, just wait until February when Tim moves out. Eh, I really should get started. Maybe I'll spend a day moving stuff out of my room so I can start knocking down walls.
I put my alarm clock across the room such that I have to physically get out of bed and turn it off. The getting out from under the warm covers and being hit by cold air and then walking a few steps seems to wake me up. Even if I hit snooze and go back to sleep, I only doze.
