I'm not even going to explain how crazy this schedule is. Since tonight seems to be a pretty terrible night to travel... at least by air. I could probably drive to Austin in less time. Anyway, here's the details:
Thursday (12/18). Fly to Austin. Thanks to delays, this is probably going to be mostly a Friday event at this point.
Friday (12/19). Drive to Garden City KS with Ryan, Dani & Roma. This was determined to be the easiest/cheapest way for me to get there. I am glad now that I didn't try to fly in, going through Denver tonight would be an even bigger mess, and I can almost guarantee I would've missed the connecting flight.
Monday (12/22). Drive with Ryan, Dani & Roma to Topeka. RDR will continue on to KC, I'll stay in Topeka with Grandpa.
Thursday (12/25). Drive to Coffeyville with Grandpa to visit the cousins.
Saturday (12/27). Drive to the airport in Tulsa. Depart for Philadelphia (via St. Louis). Meet up with Kristen for her philosophy job conference.
Tuesday (12/30). Travel to Baltimore/D.C. to visit Kristen's relatives.
Saturday (1/3). Fly home to Phoenix.
As a recap, the trip all went well. The only delay was getting to Austin, everything else went like clockwork. I have photos from the trip, posted some on facebook but I'll get some here when I have some time.
It's not such a great time to be traveling internationally either. I barely made it on to the flight from EWR to MSP despite having planned a 4-hour layover in EWR. They literally closed the gate door behind me.
