Since I'm absolutely terrible about posting photos to my website, and only marginally bad about blogging, I thought I'd best put these photos on the blog or nobody would ever see them. So here goes, photos with commentary from January/February 2009!!

Now, before you say "what the heck?" - and I'm probably too late - this photo depicts what happens when shaving gel, well, explodes. I think that's enough said on this one.

This is the *cutest* girl in the whole world. And I have this photo to prove it.

On the beach in Huntington Beach, CA. We were trying to get all artsy with this, taking it into the sun and all. It kinda worked. We stayed with Al for the night (and he lives right across from the beach)... and Kristen got to see some of how Al and I are in some ways quite alike.

We were in LA for Kristen's philosophy conference at Cal Tech. Since she was busy all day at the conference, I got to go play... that is, when I wasn't transferring large chunks of data between laptops. Back to the playing... I drove up CA Highway 2 into the Angeles National Forest (I think thats what it was). It's a fun curvy road. Given the time, good weather, and the fact that it was one of the clearest days I'd ever seen in LA, I took the opportunity. This picture is from just a short ways up into the mountains. Yes folks, this is a clear day in LA.

The mini likes the mountains. You can see the leftover snow, and the snow on the mountains in the background. I stopped here for lunch after visiting the TV Towers at the top.
