My last entry was very abnormal. Sometimes you see a news article and you just can't help but comment on it.
Saturday was kind boring, I didn't do anything exciting all day. Basically just spent the day doing homework and work, mostly Java coding for work. I did have a meeting at 3pm for another class. We got some stuff done, but still a ton of things to do for that project. Ug. I am starting to really get tired of these projects that have no point. Pointless. Meaningless. Waste of time. I feel like I'm learning nothing. After the meeting back to Java coding. I'm trying to make lines wrap on the screen. Sounds simple, right? Ought to be built into Java. It is! Unless you try to wrap items within a JTree (in Java, every graphical thing is J
Sunday was nice, had a bunch of friends go to church with me for Palm Sunday. Its nice to have other friends go to church with you. Afterwards some of us went out to lunch and such. Good discussion followed. Afternoon, well, spent more time Java coding and such. Later, I went on an adventure to find my cell phone (or PCS phone, if you work for Sprint). See, ever since the hike on Friday night, I haven't been able to locate it. I called South Mountain, and the ranger there said it hadn't turned up. I decided to drive to the top to make sure it wasn't sitting out. I didn't find my phone, but I took the opportunity to take a few more photos. After some good dinner (mmm.... steak & rice & vegies), spent some time studying, and then went to help Pam with some Java homework (horray! more Java). The assignment was to do a Binary Search Tree in Java (gotta love trees!). It's stupid thou, because Java has things built in to take care of this. They should not be using Java for teaching this class, imho. But they didn't ask me. I helped her get started, the basics of inserting and deleting nodes, etc. Christin made some nice Bananna bread too, which was very good.
Sometime on my running around the top of South Mountain I injured my foot. At first I thought it was my ankle (probably was), but now there's some definite pain from the foot area. Hopefully it'll go away tomorrow.
