Today marked 3 weeks of life for Mr. Adam, to celebrate he was bright eyed and full of energy (among other things) this morning. I took a bit of video, about 20 minutes of total footage spanning about half an hour this morning. Lucky for you, I edited it down to 3 minutes worth. All of the cuts are in sequence (i.e. the video is chronological). Enjoy:

Download: H.264 or Theora. Having trouble? video help.

While I'm thinking about it, I will have to remark at how pleased I am with how nice these videos are turning out... especially this one. They're all from the Nikon D5000 DSLR, which I really didn't buy for the video functionality. If only there was a mechanism to have it auto-focus while shooting video I'd be super happy. I'd like to design it such that you press a button to start the focusing and again to turn it off (so as to not annihilate the battery). For videos like what I did today that'd be perfect since most of the time the focus doesn't need to change.

We're doing pretty well, but looking forward to more family & friends coming to help us around the house. I think we'll be ready to have a bit of relief from that. I do feel pretty accomplished this week, with getting all of the financial things associated with a new child taken care of, and getting the medical insurance changes done too. On top of that, Wednesday night I got a text from my tenants in Tempe that the oven had broken, I did some shopping around and have a new one on its way to be installed next week (I think). Ovens are expensive! With all this productivity, I do declare there needs to be a beach day (or a few hours at least) in the near future!

Great video. You're getting better at it all the time and Adam is giving you more to video too! It soothes the soul to watch the videos since I'm so far away and haven't had the opportunity to visit yet. So looking forward to the few days of visit coming up soon!
