2011.04.18 @ 11:37:11 Video: Standing and cruising

Parents of infants, and moms in particular, like to make themselves sound more like teenagers texting by using acronyms and words that only other moms with infants in the last few years know what they mean. Don't believe me? Go read the forums on babycenter.com. Maybe it's just a product of the internet age and l33tspeak. So cruising, for those of you who don't know (and that would have included me a few weeks ago) involves walking around objects while holding on to them. I believe it can also refer to walking along a wall while using the wall for stability.

Not to be confused with "Rollin' in my five-point-oh with my ragtop down so my hair can blow. The girlies on standby, Waving just to say Hi Did you stop? No - I just drove by." Heart breaker. Sorry Adam, you don't have enough hair yet, and it will all be gone before you know it anyway. That, and be careful of sunburn when you put the top down. No, this is not the cruisin' we're talking about.

He's also not going to Alaska or the Caribbean (or other destination) on a giant boat, that too is a different type of cruising. No, cruising in reference to babies just means walking while holding on to something. Don't try to look that up on dictionary.com, that definition isn't there.

Anyway, here's the video -- this one from April 3rd & 4th 2011.
