A few more words have finally started to come out of Adam's mouth... here's a list:

• Mommy & Mama
• Daddy & Dada
• Hot (sometimes confused with Hat)
• Uh-oh
• Adda (for Adam)
• Na-Na (generic for any person)

He's also singing (the tune) of a few songs:

• Frere Jacques
• Five Little Monkeys

And his animal sounds

• wooo wooo (for a dog)
• daaaaaaaaaa (for sheep)
• Rhaaaaaa - very quietly (for lion or tiger)
• uuuuh uuuuh uuuuh (for monkey)
• ssssssssss (for snake)

His passive vocabulary is pretty huge - if we want to communicate without him understanding we have to spell words to each other. There's not many things that I need to tell him that he doesn't understand. Of course, he doesn't always listen, but it's clear he understands.
