As has been tradition sine I started the journal, at the end of each semester I've posted some things I've learned. A few of these carry over from the entire school year. I may add more, if I think of anything significant.
- Cat's screams can sometimes sound like children's screas.
- Brawtcicles.... this is just a bad idea.
- I can add Punk to the types of music I enjoy.
- Still haven't found that little red straight bladed screw driver, I'm hoping I will locate it during moving my stuff out.
- Jobs are still very hard to get.
- One should make every possible attempt to not let their lives get too busy.
- Understanding other people is probably the single most difficult thing to do.
- You can't do everything.
- Supressing your feelings is difficult.
- People remember you based on memorable clothing
- Having extra computer parts around is *very* handy.
- Job Fairs suck
- Buying cars from other states isn't as hard as all that, especially if you have an Al's Dad to
help out.
- Selling a car in AZ without air conditioning is impossible.
- Sometimes depressing music can put you in a better mood.
- Most computer systems are poorly designed.
- I will never think the same way as the other business students.
- MBA students don't impress me.
- Leaving somewhere is hard.
Leaving somewhere for good is harder
Leaving somewhere for good
where you have so many good memories and hardly any bad ones is heart wrenching.
- I can tolerate quite a bit of a mess, especially when I'm busy.
- Conversations between two computer scientists and a philosopher are very fun - Especially taking place at the hot tub.
- Being a friend sometimes means leaving someone alone. This can be very challenging.
- It's always best to try to determine why someone is annoyed with you as soon as possible.
- Curiosity can get you into trouble.
- Life is short. Don't forget to play, but do something meaningful.
- If humans weren't so gullible, marketing wouldn't work and products would have to sell
themselves.
- It's difficult for someone to change their mindset, even after they've been proven wrong.
- Sometimes laziness / speed wins when it comes to food (i.e. minute rice), even for Tim.
- You'll never be good at something if you tell yourself you're bad at it.
- Most people are capable of way more than they think that they are.
- Some people are not.
