Been pretty busy this weekend, lots going on. Here's a quick rundown by day:

Friday:
Went to ASU to play some volleyball at the SRC, that was quite fun as I haven't played in a while. Afterwards I stopped by Tim & Andy's place, and we went to see Pirates of the Carribean. I had seen it once already, but it was good enough to watch a second time - not that I would've picked it, but its always fun going to a movie with friends.

Saturday:
Grand Canyon trip. Getting out of Phoenix was a chore, but I enjoyed driving up and back - always love to get out and drive some. Once there we hiked around a bit and watched the sunset. I'll eventually post some photos from the trip.

Sunday:
Went to church with Tim, Jenny came too. It was the first time since summer before last I was at a church with a real pipe organ - brought back memories of home. Many aspects reminded me of my home church, althoug the details were different. One cool thing, they had the cross in the front of the church setup with two spotlights on it casting shadows on the wall so it looked like the 3 crosses. Very cool. After church we had some lunch and then went out shopping for fish tanks. Tim & Jenny both got tanks. I'm very tempted to, but not sure where to put it. There was a nice 29 gallon one that was calling out to me... Later in the day Jenny came over to cook some Greek food, Tim & Andy, Kathryn Williams & Krissy came over to eat to be followed by a movie. We had some good conversations, and awesome food. We watched Crimson Tide, as none of them had seen it - I was surprised by that.

Monday:
I didn't do nearly as much today. I finally got around to tearing down the box my TV came in - that was quite a task. I also have been working on setting up an email server for myself, as I'm getting annoyed with the free email services. Other than that, just hung around the house until dinner time. We went to Ben's apartment for burgers. An hour after starting to cook them they were ready - I guess there were some issues with the fire or something. Ben's mom was in town, so we had all the fixins, bacon, tomato, lettuce, etc. Desert too - choc pie & carrot cake. The pie wasn't as good as Tim's choc pie, but very good nonetheless.
