Here's another weekend update:

Friday: MOPN (Make your Own Pizza Night) with CA. Good times, memorable things like Leslie's car running out of gas, etc... Got home pretty early, but was tired so thats all good.

Saturday: Morning was pretty uneventful, got a secure pop/imap going on Typhoon. It's close to being a full-fledged mail server. Not open to public, of course, except over ssl conections. The evening was Matt's bachelor party. It entailed rock climbing at Phoenix Rock Gym, first time I'd done that... it was very fun, and I seemed to be pretty natural at it all. Next we went to Laser Quest for laser tag. I hadn't played laser tag since we had the guns my parents bought when we lived in Ohio. It was tons of fun, we played 2 rounds at 20 min each, and the time flew by. I didn't do to well, but had fun nonetheless. We then came back here to play some video games and have ice cream / italian ice.

Sunday: Went to church with Andy & Tim and a WELS church in Chandler. Tim will probably be playing organ there once a month or so, which is cool. Went to Cosco for lunch, and then Tim & I went to the hardware store to buy lumber for his fish tank stand. After scoping things out, we decided to instead assemble it at my place, so we drove back, bought materials, and had at it. Learned a few things along the way, like nails are much harder to use than screws, all the pounding moves things around so they aren't square. Also, drills are kinda long, so one should take care in making sure the drill + bit will fit where you need it to. We got it all together very nicely, except the front doors which needed a bigger slab of wood than we bought. All things considered, we did pretty good.
