It seems I haven't been posting much about things going on, other than my far too long and far too detailed entries on Europe (sorry for all the boring details). So this past Wednesday Danielle, one of my fellow boeingites (the folks Al & I hang out with at work), had a birthday. Apparently the tradition amongst this group is to decorate the birthday person's cube at work the night before. And I mean decorate. I would post a picture, but we're not allowed to have cameras on site. Let's just say I'm sure it took her a little while to clean things before any actual work was done. I helped, although mostly just with putting the streamers in the ceiling, and things like that.

Then, on Thursday we all went out to eat. Wednesday night didn't work for everyone, so we postponed it a night. Oh, Wednesday Al got his new Accord Coupe V6 6spd, blue. Very nice - although I like to annoy him by pointing things out that I don't like :). So, anyway, dinner. We went to Sapporo's in North Scottsdale. It's a fancy Japanese restaurant/bar. We did one of those tables where the food is cooked in front of you. Wow. I can't say that it's the best food I've ever eaten, as that spot is clearly taken by the Italian Wedding Feast just a few weeks before, but dang, it beat's out Bamboo Club for #2. Bamboo Club, definitly wins on value still. I had a fillet and chicken combo, and would probably go for the fillet next time, the chicken was very good but the fillet won out easily. The drinks were good too, I didn't order one but I tasted a little of almost everyone's. The food was definitly pricey, but worth it - just don't make spending that much for a meal a habbit!
