Breathe In, Breathe Out, Breathe In... Just got back from running. Somewhere around 2 to 2.5 miles, running fast. See, Al always wants to run faster than me, so we decided to do a shorter faster run once and see how well that worked. My lungs, small capacity, not good. Deep Breath. Okay. I found an interesting road that goes over the 60, but it's blocked off. I didn't run up to it, as I wouldn't have made it home running at the same pace. Next time. I'm curious if it goes anywhere on the other side.
In the less recent past, yesterday was another day of relaxation. Church, played bass as usual, came home and did some laundry, pulled some weeds, shot some hoops. My left handed jump shot isn't terrible anymore, believe it or not. I still need to work on the lefty layup, and right for that matter too. It was good times, and maybe soon I'll be respectable enough to actually play some one on one. Went back to church for Bible study, where I was complimented on my bass playing, mostly people are surprised that I picked it up so fast, which I kindly explain that it's only one note at a time. However I can tell I'm still improving significantly each week. I hope I can keep that up.
Went costco-ing with Al tonight. They had some shorty wetsuits for only $40, and being ski season would come earlier, we each got one. I may have to try exchanging mine for a Large, I'm probably right inbetween sizes - depending on if you go for the height or the weight. We'll see. But I'm excited about water skiing again. They had nice life jackets too, but not the right size. I hope they get some, they're *so* comfortable and only $40.
